Dr. Minna Kohler is the founder and Director of the Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), in Boston USA. As a graduate of the USSONAR program and a faculty mentor, Dr. Kohler plays a vital role in training rheumatologists nationwide in ultrasound techniques. She co-directs the Harvard MSKUS CME course and has been a trailblazer in promoting ultrasound education through the American College of Rheumatology (ACR). Dr. Kohler’s research and educational interests focus on point-of-care ultrasound in diagnosing and managing a variety of rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, and vasculitis. Additionally, her clinical and research work spans osteoarthritis, crystal arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, seronegative spondyloarthropathies, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory arthritis related to immunotherapy and cancer. Her book, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Rheumatology Review, is highly regarded and recognized as one of the top rheumatology books by Book Authority.
